PatoGen Strengthens Fish Health Team

Meritxell Diez-Padrisa has joined PatoGen Fish Health Team as Senior Fish Health Advisor and brings many years of veterinary and production experience of aquaculture to the team.

Diez-Padrisa previously worked with Mowi (Scotland) Ltd., Grupo Culmarex SAU and most recently with the Aquaculture Stewardship Council and brings a wealth of expertise in diagnostics and the application of veterinary medicine to aquaculture. She said she “is greatly looking forward to working with the international PatoGen team as health issues continue to challenge aquaculture in many sectors and regions, and that there is much work to be done.”

Dr. Hamish Rodger, Chief Fish Health officer in PatoGen called the appointment “excellent news” and “Meritxell is a renowned and highly experienced aquaculture vet and her appointment will ensure we continue to develop high standards in diagnostic services to our aquaculture clients” 

PatoGen is launching clinical chemistry in May
Over the past year, PatoGen has been preparing to launch an analysis platform for fish, and we can now inform that it is ready for our customers to use in May by submitting samples
